As you may have learned, the quality and performance of the Smack-N-Shad is outstanding.  However, the demand for this lure has far exceeded our ability to produce the handcrafted wood version.  After months of development and thousands invested, we now have a premium plastic version of this lure worthy of the Smack-N-Shad reputation.  The “Smack-N-Shad 2″. Just like the original, the SNS 2 body is proudly made in the USA.  Even the packaging is from the US. We are, however, still using Gamakatsu hooks manufactured in Japan. The original handmade cedar lure will still be available on a limited basis.
